What a success! Last Sunday we hosted our Accepted Students’ Open House program and had a fantastic day!<\/p>\n

\"OH<\/a>\u00a0\"OH<\/a><\/p>\n

Here were some of the highlights of the program:<\/p>\n

– a\u00a0fair\u00a0with representatives of student\u00a0organizations<\/a>, campus life departments<\/a>, and sports teams<\/a>\u00a0to discuss various on-campus opportunities<\/p>\n

– sessions on our Career Planning Services<\/a>; Preparation for Health Professions<\/a>; Study Abroad<\/a>; Preparation for Law<\/a>; Student-Designed Majors, Minors and other programs<\/a>; Preparation for Business<\/a>; Scholars Programs<\/a>; Summer & Academic Internships<\/a>; and Library Services<\/a><\/p>\n

– separate\u00a0panels for families and admitted students\u00a0with current Holy Cross students, faculty, and staff<\/p>\n

– brief, informal presentations by faculty in various\u00a0the academic areas<\/p>\n

– a Liturgy of Welcome at St. Joseph’s Chapel<\/p>\n

The sun shone\u00a0brightly over Mount Saint James throughout the day; we were so fortunate to host such a fun and informative event and have\u00a0such great weather. \u00a0We also lucked out with several special performances of Holy Cross a Capella groups, the choir, and our Good Time Marching Band. \u00a0Coordination of this event required the planning of many staff members, faculty, and students–thank you all so so much! \u00a0And thank you to our guests for coming–we hope you had a wonderful time on campus!<\/p>\n
