What exactly are you doing?:<\/strong>I work as an assistant in the learning & conditioning lab where I handle 6 pigeons on a daily bases.<\/p>\n

How did you hear about this opportunity?:<\/strong> Through my professor when I joined his lab<\/p>\n

What are you most excited about doing within this program?:<\/strong>\u00a0I am excited about the freedom I have and responsibility I am able to take that nowhere else is available.<\/p>\n

What are you hoping to gain from your experience?:<\/strong>\u00a0I hope to get published as much as possible during my gap years once I graduate (professors usually\u00a0take 1-3 years to write up experiments).<\/p>\n

Do you have any advice for prospective students thinking about doing research?:<\/strong> Be active, don’t be afraid to ask about what you are interested– it might get you to an opportunity you didn’t expect to be available<\/p>\n

When you were in high school, did you expect to have this opportunity in college?:\u00a0<\/strong>NO WAY!<\/p>\n
