Worcester is known for its fantastic restaurants and you will not be disappointed by the selection that they have to offer for every occasion! Worcester\u2019s offerings extend far beyond Shrewsbury street \u2013 keep reading for my (along with many other student\u2019s) favorite local spots.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Coffee\/ Cafes\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Acoustic Java\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n My roommates and I frequent Acoustic Java almost every morning. With their fun rustic environment and an extensive menu of coffees, matcha, and iced teas, you won\u2019t be disappointed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Bonus points: There are 2 locations in Worcester and one of them is a short walk\/ a quick 2-minute drive from campus \u2013 so convenient!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Nu Cafe\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n Nu Cafe is a crowd pleaser and most student\u2019s go-to off-campus spot. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this cafe is great for all times of the day. They have great baked goods too!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Other Great Cafes\/ Coffee Places:\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n Birchtree Bread Co – <\/span><\/i>Great local bakery\/ cafe for breakfast or lunch\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n InHouse – <\/span><\/i>Coffee and Bagels\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Bagel Time<\/span><\/i> – Need I say more?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dinner Spots\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n Tavern in the Square\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n This spot is actually in Shrewsbury, but it\u2019s well worth the trip! They have specifically fantastic brunch and dinner menus and their sport-bar vibe is laid back and fun.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Volturno<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n This<\/span> Italian spot is an amazing place to go for the best, pizza, pasta, and salad. Although they offer takeout, I highly recommend dining in. Their warm ambiance makes you want to stay for hours!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Baba Sushi\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n My roommates and I always get takeout from this little sushi place and it has quickly become one of our favorites! With all products from within Massachusetts and New England, <\/span>Maker to Main’s<\/b> mission is to strengthen the local community through food.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n As you can see, there is so much more to Worcester\u2019s foodie scene than Shrewsbury Street (although it\u2019s always an amazing staple).
