{"id":378,"date":"2009-10-22T17:32:25","date_gmt":"2009-10-22T21:32:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/admissions.me.holycross.edu\/?p=378"},"modified":"2009-10-22T17:32:25","modified_gmt":"2009-10-22T21:32:25","slug":"how-can-i-connect","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.holycross.edu\/admissions\/2009\/10\/22\/how-can-i-connect\/","title":{"rendered":"How Can I Connect?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-422\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.holycross.edu\/admissions\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/27\/2009\/11\/JamesRichardson.BLOG2.jpg\" alt=\"JamesRichardson.BLOG2\" width=\"105\" height=\"150\" \/>By now, if you&#8217;ve made it this far in the search process, and this deep into the Holy Cross website, you&#8217;ve &#8220;done your homework&#8221; in a manner of speaking.\u00a0 You&#8217;ve researched various schools and you know you like Holy Cross, but may still be wondering about a few things, and need some additional information.\u00a0 So, how else might you connect with us to gather those final pieces of information you need?\u00a0 No worries, there&#8217;s still time, and lots of ways for you to accomplish this.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As my colleague Amanda Juriansz mentioned in her most <a href=\"http:\/\/admissions.me.holycross.edu\/2009\/10\/15\/still-havent-scheduled-an-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recent blog post<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/admissions.me.holycross.edu\/tag\/interview\/\"><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.holycross.edu\/admissions\/visit\/interviews.html\">an interview<\/a> is one of the most important &#8220;connections&#8221; you can make throughout the process.\u00a0 Interviewing is one of the single largest expressions of interest you can make in the College, and one of the easiest ways for you to tell us you&#8217;re really serious about your application here.\u00a0 Interviews are offered here on campus until the end of the year, or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.holycross.edu\/admissions\/visit\/alum_interview09.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">with an alumnus in your area<\/a> if that&#8217;s easier.\u00a0 SO, as Amanda said, &#8220;What are you waiting for? &#8220;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/groupchat02.askadmissions.net\/01\/landingpage.aspx?clientName.holycross\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chat it up with us! <\/a>We will be offering several online chats over the course of the next several weeks and months, so login and chat away with Admissions Counselors, Holy Cross students, and other prospective applicants.\u00a0 The next online chat will be happening November 4 &#8230; we&#8217;ll hope to see you online from 7:00 &#8211; 10:00PM EST, or for any portion of that time you may be available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Meeting students is always a great way to connect with a college and get a good feel for what life is like there.\u00a0 In our <a href=\"https:\/\/webapps.holycross.edu\/admissions\/meetSomeStudents\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Some Students section online<\/a>, you can actually specify your criteria, and choose who you want to connect with!\u00a0 Whether its connecting with another student from San Francisco, or someone from Visual Arts, you can choose with whom you correspond.<\/li>\n<li>You can also make some additional connections with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.holycross.edu\/admissions\/contact\/staff.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">us on staff<\/a>, or with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.holycross.edu\/admissions\/contact\/seniors.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">our Admissions Senior Interviewers<\/a> through the &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.holycross.edu\/admissions\/contact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">contact us<\/a>&#8216; link on the Admissions page.\u00a0 We all have photos and email links there &#8211; &#8211; whether you recognize us or not, make a connection!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And finally, the absolute <strong>best <\/strong>way to &#8220;connect&#8221; is to <strong>apply<\/strong>!\u00a0 Applications for Early Decision consideration are due here in the office December 15, but ED is a rolling process, and we&#8217;ll be reviewing applications as soon as November 1st, so feel free to submit your application as soon as it&#8217;s ready.\u00a0 Regular Admission applications are due January 15.\u00a0 Apply &#8230; and get connected!<\/p>\n<p>Good luck!<\/p>\n<p>James T.
