Let me tell you how stressed I was when I applied to college.\u00a0 I had never spent so much time writing, editing, rewriting, having others read, and writing some more.\u00a0 Those essays nearly caused me to have a breakdown.\u00a0 I’m sure none of this is news to you.\u00a0 You’ve all been experiencing the same thing over the last few weeks.\u00a0 But the best part is that it’s over!\u00a0 You’re done!<\/p>\n

But wait!\u00a0 What if I don’t get in?\u00a0 What if I didn’t say everything I should have?\u00a0 What if the waiting makes me have an even bigger breakdown?!\u00a0 Take a deep breath.\u00a0 Not a big deal.\u00a0 Take Patrick’s advice and calmly look over the application.\u00a0 If there’s anything you left out then send it along.\u00a0 If you’ve said everything you wanted to then you need to remember that you’ve done your best and it’s out of your hands.\u00a0 Relax, stop the stressing.\u00a0 Push those applications far from your mind and just enjoy your last semester of high school.\u00a0 Do your homework, hang out with your friends, forget that college exists.\u00a0 Really, it will help you out.\u00a0 Trust the girl who panicked endlessly.\u00a0 In April when the letters start arriving it will be a nice surprise and not a burden that’s been looming over you.\u00a0 Then you’ll have a fun decision to make!<\/p>\n

And then, in another few years, the process will begin over again for graduate school \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
