\"\"<\/a>The last few weeks have been exciting and rewarding as all of us in the Admissions Office have been traveling the country, meeting with students in their hometowns and in their high schools.\u00a0 After traveling for a few days, it becomes apparent that many students tend to ask the same questions in town after town.\u00a0 Here below are the most frequently asked questions with my answers.<\/p>\n

  1. 1. <\/strong>\u201cIs ___ a good topic for my essay?\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Yes — if that\u2019s the topic you\u2019ve selected.\u00a0 No \u2013 if someone else told you to write about it.<\/p>\n

    2. <\/strong>\u201cAre interviews required at Holy Cross?\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    No, but they are strongly recommended<\/strong>.\u00a0 For more information regarding interviews, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    3.<\/strong> “What’s that on your shirt?<\/strong>“<\/span><\/p>\n

    Ketchup.\u00a0 Or salsa.\u00a0 Or both.<\/p>\n

    4. <\/strong>\u201cDo you offer Early Action?\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    That\u2019s a great conversation to have with your guidance counselor but know this \u2013 in our review process, we are going to focus on your accomplishments over the course of four years, not four hours on a Saturday morning.<\/p>\n
