In the Admissions Office, we\u2019re getting ready to start reading applications, especially those who have applied for <a href=\"http:\/\/admissions.holycross.edu\/applying\/first-year-applicants\/early-decision\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Early Decision<\/a> (deadline December 15th).  As you get ready to hit the \u201csubmit\u201d button on the Common Application, I wanted to share a few tips to help make your application the best that it can be:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\t<strong>If you haven\u2019t already,<a href=\"http:\/\/admissions.holycross.edu\/visiting\/interviews\"> schedule an interview<\/a><\/strong> . \u00a0Interviews are not required, but are highly recommended as part of our application process. They\u2019re painless, we promise! We just want to have a conversation with you and learn about all the wonderful things you\u2019ve accomplished in high school.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\t<strong>Keep up those senior grades!<\/strong> We know how easy it is to fall prey to \u201csenioritis,\u201d but remember that continuing to do well in senior year is important to us.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\t<strong>Proofread that <a href=\"http:\/\/admissions.me.holycross.edu\/tag\/essay\/\">essay<\/a><\/strong>. Make sure to use both proofreaders (Mom, Dad, siblings, friends, etc.), \u00a0<em>and<\/em> proofreaders with perspective (English teachers, Guidance Counselors).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tFeel free to send us any supplemental materials- artwork, music, writing samples, resumes, etc. We like to know about all of your talents, both in and out of the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Not ready to submit an application to Holy Cross just yet?
