Starting this fall, <strong>Fullbridge will be replaced with an all new Business Basics.<\/strong> This workshop offers a comprehensive and dynamic, high-impact learning experience designed to give students a clear and practical understanding of how business <em>really<\/em> works. Students can expect to build their business acumen, explore career pathways in business, and prepare for internships and jobs.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Why this change?<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Business Basics is designed to support Certificate students by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li class=\"text-start \">Providing a <strong>broader, more comprehensive experience<\/strong> across key business functions, including <strong>product, marketing, sales, finance, business strategy\/consulting, and more.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"text-start \">Offering a more <strong>hands-on, applied learning model<\/strong>. Students will put concepts into practice through a series of experiential activities and a capstone \u201cbuildathon\u201d. They will also work in a team to develop a startup concept to <strong>compete for a $1,000 grand prize.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"text-start \">Creating a format that is <strong>easier to participate in<\/strong>, with a streamlined <strong>three-day schedule.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"text-start \">Making the experience more <strong>accessible and affordable<\/strong>, with a program cost of <strong>$350<\/strong> per student.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Who is affected?<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">This update impacts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li class=\"text-start \">Students in the <strong>Business Fundamentals<\/strong> and <strong>Entrepreneurship<\/strong> Certificates who have <strong>not yet<\/strong> completed the Fullbridge requirement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><em>Students that have already completed Fullbridge have satisfied this requirement and are not required to participate in Business Basics.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Next steps<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Business Basics will take place twice per academic year during fall and winter breaks, and is offered on campus with daily sessions from <strong>9am &#8211; 4:30pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ignite.holycross.edu\/site\/09a06037-267c-56d2-bd95-d5c42e1d5dbc\/page\/a45a12b7-b7a7-5ff2-8899-48469747bba1\"><strong>Learn more<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdFZGirEMmiUZTpwwm-thxjVfGRM0bMNgjaNq9cc9nCL4YdKw\/viewform\"><strong>Apply for Business Basics<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">We are excited about this program update and look forward to seeing you in the program!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re excited to introduce an enhancement to the Ciocca Center\u2019s Certificate programs!
