If you haven’t already been asked, then consider working with faculty in the HC Economics & Accounting Department this summer.
Come to an informational meeting on Thursday, February 10, from 3:00 to 4:00 in Stein 522. You can talk to faculty about what they will be doing and what you can expect from the program.
As a brief summary, the Economics and Accounting Department offers a summer research program where pairs of students and faculty collaborate on a variety of research projects. The program runs from May 30 – July 29, 2011, includes on-campus housing, a stipend of $3,780, and a small budget for supplies and travel.

To apply for a position in the 2011 summer research program, you must complete an application, a housing application and submit one letter of recommendation. All forms are available on the Economics Department website and are due in the Economics Department Office (Stein 519) no later than Friday, February 18, 2011 at 4 pm.
