In one sentence, what does your job entail?<\/b><\/p>\n A technology consultant in life sciences advises pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies on leveraging technology solutions to improve research and development, clinical trials, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance.<\/p>\n The career center was instrumental in my finding Accenture post-graduation. With my math background (and CS concentration), I was not interested in becoming an actuary or teaching. Consulting gave me the opportunity to try out technology across several different industries. I never grew tired of the work as it was frequently changing which kept things interesting.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3. What were you involved in when you were on campus?<\/b><\/p>\n Resident Assistant, Radio Station, Appalachia Service Project, Kimball captain, tutor<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 4. What was your major and how did it affect your career decisions?<\/b><\/p>\n Mathematics\/Computer Science<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 5. What are one or two skills that you developed at Holy Cross that you use in your work?<\/b><\/p>\n Strong work ethic and empathy<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/b>6. What are your thoughts on how AI has impacted or will impact your industry? What advice do you have for students as they prepare to enter a professional world where AI is prevalent?<\/strong><\/p>\n AI will be a fundamental part of technology going forward. It isn’t a matter of whether it will disrupt industries, but how it will disrupt them.
