The campus always looks beautiful in the winter.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-20\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.holycross.edu\/emmagrayeb\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/61\/2024\/02\/IMG_1265-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Holy Cross is famous for the huge hill that it&#8217;s built on. The location is great for sledding! My friends and I decided to go in the evening. Outside it was peaceful and quiet, the ground covered in blankets of fresh snow.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-22\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.holycross.edu\/emmagrayeb\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/61\/2024\/02\/IMG_1279-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The second semester always gets busy quickly. I am currently in Dinand Library, way down in the stacks as I write this post. I have just completed my homework for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.holycross.edu\/academics\/programs\/creative-writing\">creative writing class<\/a> I&#8217;m taking with Professor Xi. I\u00a0 had to prepare for a writer&#8217;s workshop tomorrow, where my classmates and I will discuss our fiction pieces and give each other advice on how to improve.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s all for now!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday we had our first snow day of the year!
