1. In one sentence, what does your job entail?
As the leader of this family foundation, I oversee the selection and distribution of grants to non-profits working in the arts, education, environment, health, human services, and public affairs.
2. What planned and unplanned events connected you to your industry and your first employer after Holy Cross? How did you learn/decide it was a good fit for you?
I was a part of the Holy Cross Leadership Network NY internship, which was an important experience in working in a non-profit.
3. What were you involved in when you were on campus?
WCHC, Habitat for Humanity International, Habitat for Humanity spring break.
4. What was your major and how did it affect your career decisions?
English — it certainly helped me as a high school English teacher for 14 years!
5. What are one or two skills that you developed at Holy Cross that you use in your work?
Critical thinking, Effective communication.
